Cabernet sauvignon origionates in the Bordeaux region and is a major contributor in the production of the great chateaux wines produced there. Usually blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The House of Beaverdale have produced these kits since 1988. They were designed to allow people to produce in their own homes, a range of wines to rival those produced in the great chateaux of the worlds great wine producing regions. The grape juice is sourced from high quality grapes within the wine growing areas. The wine is drinkable within a week of being finished, however a longer period of being laid down will certainly improe the wine.
