By placing an order, by whatever method, you are agreeing to our delivery terms and conditions as laid out on this page.
How to order
Orders can be placed online via our secure order form. Alternatively, you can telephone us with your order and credit or debit card details on 01793 765071 between 7am and 9pm GMT 7 days a week. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT SOLO CARDS WHERE THE NUMBER STARTS WITH 4917, OR ANY VISA ELECTRON CARDS.
If you wish to pay by cheque please make it payable to Arkwrights, and send it with your order to Arkwrights, 114 The Dormers, Highworth, SWINDON, Wiltshire SN6 7PE. We will send the goods to you once we receive the cheque and it has cleared.
Mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands) shipping rates are as follows:
up to 1kg is £4
from 1kg up to 30 kg is £7.95
from 30kg up to 60 kg is £15.90.
Please note that postage on homebrew items is subject to VAT and this is included in the postage charges quoted.
Free delivery is available on orders of £65 or over shipped to mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands & Islands) providing that they weigh 30kg or less and can be packed in one container. We reserve the right to make an additional charge for postage where the items cannot be packed into one container but will inform you of this before charging any additional amount to you.
We usually despatch orders within 2 working days of receiving the order and payment, if all items are in stock. If items are out of stock we will contact you by email or telephone to discuss what you would like us to do.
Parcels weighing less than 1kg are sent by First Class mail. All parcels over 1kg are normally sent by Parcelforce 48 and must be signed for. If Royal Mail are unable to get a signature they will leave you a card stating where the parcel can be collected from (usually your local post office)
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands and Islands, European and Rest of the World destinations - we will telephone or email you to advise of shipping charges prior to shipping.
While we have endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site, we cannot guarantee or give any warranty as to the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any information or material on the website.
Due to market and budget fluctuations, we reserve the right to change prices and specifications without notice. Also, if due to an error or omission the price shown on our website for any of our goods is incorrect we reserve the right to amend the price. In the event the price changes/is amended, we will inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to cancel your order. Products are subject to availability. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Any order placed through www.arkwrightshomebrew.com constitutes an offer by you to purchase a product from Arkwrights Homebrew, which is subject to our acceptance. After placing an order with us you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received your order ("Order Confirmation"). This does not mean that your order has been accepted. The contract between you and Arkwrights (the "Contract") will be formed when we send you an email notifying you that your order has been dispatched. We cannot honour genuine pricing errors on the website. The Contract will only relate to those products detailed in the Order Confirmation. We will contact you within a reasonable time following receipt of your order, usually no later than 48 hours, to confirm if we accept or reject your order. Where we reject your order and revised terms cannot be agreed with you, the order will be cancelled.
Our Website is intended for sales to consumers only. Only those purchasing goods for personal use or as gifts, and not for commercial resale purposes, may order goods from this Website. We reserve the right to reject any order that you place through our Website, including but not limited to where we believe the orders are from any persons purchasing goods for the purposes of commercial resale.
Returns and Refunds and Complaints
If you have any problems with your order please telephone, write to or e-mail Arkwrights and we will endeavour to sort out the problem within 3 working days of receiving the query. You can telephone on 01793 765071 between 7.00 am and 9 pm GMT 7 days per week. Our email address is email@example.com. Our postal address is as shown above.
Non-delivery must be reported to us within 21 days of placing an order in order that we can investigate the matter with Royal Mail. If non-delivery is not notified within this time then no claims can be considered.
If the goods are damaged or faulty when you receive them they will be replaced free of charge, or a full refund will be made. Please contact us within 3 working days of receiving the goods so that we can arrange for the damaged or faulty goods to be collected from you.
Complaints are handled on a one-to-one basis by telephone or e-mail, or by post if a reply is not urgent, and we will try and come to a satisfactory conclusion within 3 days of the complaint. All complaints will remain confidential.
If you order goods in error, or no longer require the goods that you have ordered, you can return them within 7 working days that begin on the day after you have received the goods. We cannot refund the cost of the original or return postage/shipping costs, but we will refund Your Money for the goods within 30 days of receiving them back at Arkwrights if they are returned in an unopened and unused condition.
N.B. Please get a Proof of posting, or even insure the goods, in case they get lost in transit. If the goods are lost in transit we cannot refund the cost of those goods but you should be able to make a claim through the carrier e.g. Royal Mail or Business Post. We cannot refund or replace any item that has been opened or used.
